Situated in the western portion of Indiana, Connersville was chartered as a city in 1869. According to the 2010 census, approximately 13,481 individuals call Connersville home. The city serves as the county seat of Fayette County and is the only incorporated city within the county. It is located about 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis. The city is named in honor John Conner, a settler.
